The Grounds of Alexandria is an institution, with a beautiful kitchen garden, house-baked bread and house-roasted coffee, and a small population of farm animals in residence. Some of the best coffee in the area can also be found at Mecca Alexandria, perfect for a scrumptious breakfast and lunch.
Grandma’s at McEvoy is in a warehouse beautifully renovated in a 1970s style and open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Homely meals are specialty of Grandma’s. You’ll find other moreish restaurants and cafes, including Meet Gerard and the Parkview Hotel, first built in 1898.
Getting to these lovely neighbourhoods is easy by public transport. For Jet Flight Simulator, take a train from Town Hall in the city centre and alight at Green Square for a short walk to the centre. Mascot Station is the closest to Sky Zone, where the kids will love bouncing on the trampolines.
